Mill St. Wellesley Stage (across from Wellesley Station)
Outdoor venue including a bar and a VIP area. This is an accessible venue with an accessibility viewing platform. There will be a harm reduction booth at this venue as well.
ID is only required to receive 19+ wristband allowing for the purchase of alcoholic beverages. The VIP area is also a 19+ space, and ID will be required.
Accessibility Info
- ASL interpretation will be offered at the stage
- Security at the entrance (This is an ALL AGES event - ID is only needed for wrist band purchases for alcohol and VIP section)
- There will be a dedicated accessibility area at the stage that will have seating, a risen platform, a tent and ramp access
- Black C.A.P will be hosting a harm reduction table near the stage
- Free water onsite
- Pride will be fundraising at the door, however this is a FREE show, you will NOT be turned away
- KN94/95 (or better) masks are highly encouraged (we will have bifold masks on site)
- Closest TTC Wheel Trans drop off: Maitland Street (You can use 100 Maitland Street as the exact drop-off)
- Pride Accessibility Hub is located at Church St and Wellesley St (ASL Stage Schedule, Mobility Device Rentals, Pride Guide copies, Stage schedules, Sunflower Lanyards)
Road Closures & Navigation Tips
Dyke March Closures (June 27, 12:00 - 4:00 pm)
- March formation area road closure on Hayden St, from Church Street to Yonge St
- March closures on Yonge St from Hayden St to Gould St
- No cars can get through; pedestrians can walk through
NOTE:
- There are LOTS of events, festivals and games happening on the 27th - please be prepared for roads, GO trains and buses and the TTC to be INCREDIBLY busy
- Depending on Ubers, Lyfts and cabs to get to Pride weekend can be messy and complicated, please prepare accordingly and assess drop-off zones
REMINDER: Please book your Wheeltrans WELL in advance, bookings for that weekend will be HIGH!
What to pack for the show
- There will be free water onsite, but to reduce plastic use, bring a reusable water bottle (consider bringing electrolyte powders for extra hydration)
- Sunscreen
- Dress for hot weather (consider light layers, bringing a hat, or choosing UV protective clothing)
- Hand or electric fans
- Charging bank
- Necessary Disability and medical related items
- If you’ll be masking during the show, consider bringing back ups in case you sweat through them and install a sip valve if you prefer staying masked (there will be room to social distance and we will also have bifold masks on site)
- Consider purchasing cooling patches (check your local Asian grocery stores for this)
- Wipes and hand sanitizer
- .... Maybe bring a bag of Kurkure
